Each week I’m going to write a weekly post summarising the notable projects and singles that released during the week. I’m planning on doing this on the same day each week, probably on the Friday before the wave of Friday albums dropped, so each post will cover the previous Friday-Thursday.
I’m doing this mainly so I can come back to them in the future and see when certain things dropped, but also hope to help others catch some fresh music that you may have missed. I’ll include some links to any reviews I’ve done on the projects, streaming services to listen to them, and anything else that may be relevant.

Denzel Curry – 13lood 1n 13lood Out Mix – DatPiff – Youtube – This is a strange release Denzel is calling a ‘Mixx’. It contains 8 short songs/snippets all released as one endless mix, which is why I haven’t checked it yet. If it doesn’t see a proper release I’ll listen to this in the future.
Westside Gunn – Flyest Nigga In Charge Vol. 1 – Spotify – Apple Music – This is an album Westside Gunn made in 2005. This, plus the fact I’ve never been able to get into WSG, are the reasons I’m not interested in listening to this one at the moment

Weekly Summary
Overall I think it was a strong start to the year. My favourite project was the UglyGoblin EP, and there were quite a few enjoyable tracks throughout the week. My favourite songs were ‘Bad Vibe’, ‘U Played’, ‘Cap Backwards’, ‘Red Light’, ‘Carefree’, & the ‘Valentino Remix’. So based on that it was an impressive week.
Next week should be even better, with album releases from Moneybagg Yo & Mick Jenkins at the very least.
