Each week I’m going to write a weekly post summarising the notable projects and singles that released during the week. I’m planning on doing this on the same day each week, probably on the Friday before the wave of Friday albums drop, so each post will cover the previous Friday-Thursday.
I’m doing this mainly so I can come back to them in the future and see when certain things dropped, but also hope to help others catch some fresh music that you may have missed. I’ll include some links to any reviews I’ve done on the projects, streaming services to listen to them, and anything else that may be relevant. Enjoy!

My Thoughts On The Week
Overall I felt like this was a pretty weak week in comparison to most of the weeks in January. I think in terms of albums it was a decent weak, with a quality release from Wayne, as well as a couple other enjoyable projects such as Yo Gotti’s Untrapped and 10k.Caash’s Planet Swajjur. I’m still yet to listen to the Key Glock and Russ albums (not a fan of either artist) but plan to get to those in the next week.
The main thing that made this last week feel lacking in comparison to other weeks is the small quantity of quality tracks. There were lots of singles and loosies released throughout the week from both big names and lesser known artists, but very few of them ended up being great. My favourite tracks from this week were honestly none, some were okay but none really excited me. In saying that, I’ve only listened through most tracks once in a bit of a rush so that may change as the weeks go on. I could see myself liking the tracks from Aesop Rock, A Boogie, Hoodrich Pablo Juan & Tobi Lou after more listens
What were your favourite tracks or albums from this week just gone?
What are you looking forward to in February?
Thanks For Reading!
